Seimbang antara Habluminallah dan Habluminannas

Setiap ibadah yang diperintahkan Allah adalah untuk meningkatkan hubungan vertikal dan horizontal secara seimbang. Hubungan vertikal yaitu hubungan kita kepada Allah ( Hablumminallah), sedangkan hubungan horizontal adalah hubungan kita kepada sesama makhluk Allah (Hablumminannas).

Islam bukanlah agama yang memerintahkan untuk hanya beribadah saja kepada Allah tanpa memikirkan kehidupan dunia, begitu pun sebaliknya tidak juga hanya mengejar kehidupan dunia saja. Tetapi setiap ibadah itu harus seimbang antara dunia dan akhirat. Sholat diawali dengan takbiratul ihrom dan diakhiri dengan salam yang mendo’akan seluruh makhluk yang ada dibumi ini. Artinya dalam bacaan sholat pun ada hubungan antara Allah dan sesama manusia. Begitu pun dengan ibadah puasa di bulan Ramadhan. Puasa merupakan ibadah yang penilaiannya langsung oleh Allah. Ikhlas tidaknya seseorang melakukan ibadah puasa hanya Allah yang tahu. setelah satu bulan berpuasa yang merupakan meningkatkan hubungan kita dengan Allah, maka di akhir bulan Ramadhan sebelum shalat idul fitri kita diwajibkan untuk melaksanakan zakat fitrah yang merupakan peningkatan hubungan kita kepada sesama manusia.

Ada satu kisah di zaman Rasulullah yaitu ada seorang kepala keluarga yang meninggalkan istri dan anaknya untuk pergi ke suatu tempat yang jauh dari keramaian agar dapat beribadah dengan khusuk kepada Allah, sedangkan istri dan anak-anaknya dititipkan kepada saudaranya yang kaya raya. semua biaya kehidupan anak dan istrinya ditanggung oleh saudaranya itu. berita tersebut sampai pada Rasulullah sehingga Rasulullah mendatangi orang tersebut dan menegurnya. Rasul mengatakan bahwa jika seandainya orang tersebut meninggal maka sesungguhnya yang akan masuk ke surga terlebih dahulu adalah saudaranya tersebut karena telah menafkahi istri dan anak orang tersebut yang seharusnya menjadi kewajiban orang tersebut. Sudah jelas bahwa dalam kisah tersebut Rasul melarang hanya mengejar kehidupan akhirat atau dunia saja. semuanya harus seimbang antara kehidupan dunia dan akhirat.
